ABOUT US
In 1991, a group of Filipino pediatricians from various teaching institutions with a common interest in nutrition, diarrheal diseases, and digestive disorders worked together to address these different concerns and to conceive what is now known as the Philippine Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (PSPGHAN). The society was established in 1992 through the initiative efforts of Prof. Perla D. Santos Ocampo, its founding President. Since then, PSPGHAN has proven to be a premier organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, research, and clinical practice in the fields of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition in the Philippines and the Asia Pacific.

VISION

The Philippine Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition envisions itself as a society of committed and highly trained pediatric specialists setting the trends in the care of patients with digestive and nutritional disorders, imbued with the drive to unselfishly share their knowledge and expertise towards the promotion of health and management of digestive and nutritional disorders and serving as catalyst for research and development in the Philippines and the Asia Pacific region.
